Women’s Retreats

October 15-17 & October 22-24, 2021

A Home Away from Home to Renew Your Soul.

Gather together with Women from all over New England for a weekend of refreshment and renewal in Christ.

Weekend 1 – October 15-17

Theme: Connection

“I don’t feel connected to you.”  We’ve all thought it, I’m guessing we’ve all said it at one time or another, and interestingly in one relationship or another.  Spouses, BFF, your child, your parent, even with your discipler or disciplee.  Some people may take that as a throwaway comment, but it’s a common relationship refrain that should be activating your Spidey senses. It signals a call to action. How is your connection with Jesus?  It’s multi-faceted and can take us to something energizing and amazing with Him, with others!  We will practically approach God’s heart on this topic, in order that it changes our interactions and dailiness and, are you ready … we’ll learn it from Romans 6, 7, 8.

Ellen Garland & Hayley Miller

Meet Ellen and you’ll know she loves life! She serves next to her husband Ric who is the Lead Pastor of Epsom Bible Church, an assembly ministering to the greater capital region of NH.

Ellen’s passion is to ignite others to skillfully apply truth.  She has traveled within the U.S. and abroad, pouring into ladies, as she opens the Word and shares it with energy.

Meet Hayley and you’ll know she is passionate about life! Hayley serves on the Executive team and leads and guides the Women’s ministry at Journey Bible Church in Olathe, KS.

Hayley received her B.A. in English at Clearwater Christian College, earned a M.A. from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a M.Div. from Liberty Baptist Seminary.

Ellen and Hayley are the co-founders of “gen-real,” a ministry that bridges the generational gap between women with the empowering tool of the Word of God.

Weekend 2 – October 22-24

Theme: Vertical

Much of our life is lived in the world of cliches.  We say them to one another, and we can say them to God and about God.  It’s time to live beyond that.  Who really wants to live in a world that is so superficial, that’s so unfulfilling?  Let’s move to an approach to life that has one thing in mind … is my look vertical?  We will look at words that our GOD finds are vital and we’ll consider practical steps to make them important to us.  We’ll do it, empowered by the Spirit of the living God.  Can you think of anything more energizing?

Ellen Garland

Always looking and desiring to follow God’s exciting path of adventure, Ellen Garland has enjoyed serving, encouraging and loving on a fabulous gathering at Epsom Bible Church in the capital region of New Hampshire. Ellen is the Lead Pastor’s wife and has a passion that rests on deep discipleship and the opportunity to ignite others to skillfully apply the Word of God in order to build a mature personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. She has empowered women across the US and abroad, with the practicality of learning the Word and living it.

Ric and Ellen have three grown children.  Nicole is married to Bryant. They reside in Valrico, FL – It’s warm there; Eric resides in Heaven – It’s glorious there; and Shannon is married to Jordan.  They reside in Epsom, NH – it’s delightfully close there.  They also have seven adorable grand-babies, 4 live in Florida, 2 live in Texas and 1 lives in NH! We are confident you may hear about them.

I LOVE COMING HERE BECAUSE OF THE JOY OF ALL THE LADIES AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT I GET.
